Anyone familiar with Promise PAM raid monitor software?

I am using their fasttrak 2000pro kit and I am pleased with it so far (small office-one part of back up solution).

Anyway, I am not sure how to set up and use the PAM monitoring software. Their online manual is leaving a lot to be desired.

I would simply like to have notification that a drive is down so I may replace it.

Would you know of another online resource that might explain this software better (for me anyway).
