We have new install of CM5.2.1 with 9600 series IP phones. When end users make an external call, the audio connection is 2-3 seconds behind the signaling so the user is missing the first 2-3 seconds of the conversation when the far end answers. We have SIP trunks for inbound and outbound service. The H.323 firmware for the 9600 phones is 3.1.1 and I've also tried 3.0.1 firmware. This issue also appears when calling CMM voicemail. Internal station to station calls work fine.
