Anyone ever had this problem?

When you dial our main number, you sometimes get a fax tone instead of the auto attendant? Has anyone ever experienced this problem before? If so, what did you have to do to correct it? Thanks

Can you verify that the line is hitting the PBX? Does your console show all incoming lines on it? I bet your fax machine is part of your main hunt group by accident. When it gets to that line in the hunt, you get your fax instead of the line hitting the Auto-attedant. If you have a phone that all incoming lines on it, you can watch and see if it is coming into the pbx or if it is never even hitting your pbx.

Also check if the alarm lines are involved. The alarm people can set the answer to pick up after any number of rings.
