Hi all,
After switching to uverse last week we have been through the biggest headache trying to get it to work. We used to have a 3mb cable connection from time warner that went straight to my linksys wrt54g at home. everything worked fine with this setup. The telephone had a private ip and gatewahy and was registered to a public ip address on the telephone system. As soon as we moved over to ATT uverse and started using the Att router, we have call setup but no audio between phones or the line cards. Im waiting to recieve some wireshark traces and am thinking that after call setup, the phone is being told to stream traffic to the private ip address of the internal office phone. Has anyone else experienced issues with At&t U-verse? Im thinking about just putting their router/modem in transparent or bridge mode but I think this reduces the video features they see. I guess now we can all see the great benefits of bundling your cable phone and internet....anyways let me know if anyone has ran across this
