I have stopped doing it now, the benefit > time/fuss required ratio doesn't swing it anymore, it's like they are doing us a favour as oppose to the other way around

I was surprised because we didn't get R8 FT (until I asked very nicely! Its not what you know...)

Im keen to try out the new things. My colleague saw a demo and was very impressed. Also an excuse for the company to order some new toys!

Andy - I know what you mean. I wasn't even going to apply until I got the follow up email yesterday and I thought "what the hell...".

I like it more so I'm prepared for the new stuff when it's released. I like to know the ins and outs before we start rolling it out. We've yet to install an IPO on R8 because of all the palaver over the essential edition license etc. We decided to wait it out till the next patch. Plus it's still cheaper to upgrade from V7!

No new hardware, but software running on a 3rd party device. Trickle down technology from Aura.

Perhaps that has to do with acceptation for other trials.

got it, filled it out got accepted.
missed the 8.0 as I applied but missed the cutoff numbers due to workload.
I am looking forward to tell my boss I need an android phone and an Ipad to do the testing but I doubt that he goes for it.
