Anyone Deploy LDAP with e-directory???

We are looking to see if anyone out there has deployed LDAP with e-directory? We are having multiple issues with this and it is getting worse on every corner we turn. We cannot migrate universes to our production box, which is the biggest issue. Several more issues have come up as well.

If you have please let me know.

Yes I am sorry. It is Business Objects XI R2 newly deployed (not migrated).
