We went away from using roming profiles for those who do not switch PCs. Too many issues. Now we have the task of backing up the profiles. I am not a big fan of backing up profiles because i have never needed to recover something out of a profile and seems like a waste of time. As long as users are using there network shares. Any easy way of accomplishing this backup?

I'd look at it the other way around. What's in the profile that needs to be restored, and can that folder\item be redirected to their home drive?

In ~20 years, I've NEVER backed up user profiles from local machines. But I've used offline file copies to keep things in their home drive.
