Anybody know why I would get this error all of a sudden? It has worked fine till a moment ago and I don't know why...also does anyone know if the alpha 4.0 is available for windows or not??!! Can't find anything on their site so I am assumming not yet.

Thanks in advance....

Well, you need to update your grant tables to allow localhost access. That should fix your problem. Check out for help on this. Go to the MySQL section. It's either in the administrator part, or the beginner part.

As for 4.0, I THINK it is available, you can check on their site. I tried installing 4.0 on my Linux machine, and didn't have any luck, yet. It's alpha though, and my Linux machine is a production environment, so I was mainly doing it to screw around.

Hope this helps!
