Anybody know what causes this error?

I am not sure if this is the correct forum, if not, can someone please suggest the approprate forum?

I am getting this error now when I try to access my site:


Error-403
Failed to read headers returned by server.
Headers were invalid or incomplete.


What causes this and how can I fix it, thanks.

I get the error when I try to go to my site.

http://www.mysite.com

and when I try to go to my webmail.

http://www.mysite.com/webmail

This just started happening this morning, no changes were made.

Actually the only change I made was:
I tried to implement a .htaccess file to the /images dir, because some users were stealing my bandwidth (linking my images to their sites), but the .htaccess file worked too well, I was getting broken links on mysite as well. So I just deleted the .htaccess file.

I figured out what happened. Apparently Apache was down. All is good now.
