I'm told that Matrox video is superior for 2-D video, great for high res graphics work, but, of course, not for games which doesn't bother me. Are the drivers for WinXP stable? I had some major driver problems with a Radeon 9600XT recently and had to return the card. I have an Iiyama Visionmaster Pro410 monitor and I'm considering maybe the Matrox P650 or P750.

The Matrox card is an excellent choice for 2D work and the drivers are excellent.

IF 2-D or video editing is your main goal, go Matrox. The x.10 is a good consumer line targeted at those looking for some fast video-editing options. The p750 is also a good choice for 2-D work.
