hi anybody have usued GPRS mobile to PC/Laptop internet connection ?

How is the speed?

can you browse all the websites in your PC/Laptop in GPRS mobile to internet connection ? Or some specific WAP enabled websites like google and yahoo only ?

i have not yet taken up that service. Some body told me that you can not browse all websites except WAP enabled sites. Is it true ?

You should separate two things:
1)computer connected to Internet over GPRS
2)mobile phone as WAP browser, using GPRS (no computer)
In first case you can browse everything because in fact GPRS works as modem for your laptop. In second case you are not using your computer at all and browse Internet with phone's built-in WAP browser, so you cannot see sites not built for WAP

Have used GPRS connection so phone acts as modem. Speeds aren't too bad, but if you have a fixed data limit (mine is 3GB for data sent and received), you'll easily eat it up if you browse too many sites or have lots of e-mail to download. I use it mainly to download e-mails from one account only.

If sunflower oil comes from sunflowers, and vegetable oil comes from vegetables, where does baby oil come from?

done this too, using a nokia and infrared link.
user very happy, says its much faster than his 56kb modem line.

and its a corporate mobile subscription,so cost aint his concern...
pff.

does "Unlimited browsing" download data ? bcoz my subscriber wants to provide "Unlimited browsing" with fixed charge but separate extra charges for Downloading.

Yes browsing sites creates sent and received data traffic just like downloading. Don't know how you are going to differentiate between browsing and downloading without some sort of blocking software. Also depends what you are trying to stop being downloaded - a PDF linked to the site is also a download just as an MP3 file is.
