Hello all, is there anyway to tell who deleted a folder on one of our member servers? I thought you could use ADSIedit but not sure, if so do I have to install adsiedit on the member server itself? I'm just learning how to use ADSI so where would I look under in order to find this information?

Thanks, I appreciate your help!

ADSIedit is for editing Active Directory. Unless you mean an Organisational Unit or Container within Active Directory then this is not the tool for you. Basically, if you mean a standard folder within Windows Explorer then ADSIedit is not the tool and unless you have set up logs to record deletion events then I know of no way to flag this down.

Sorry.(

we had the audit logs turned off too :( Yeah ADSIedit didn't seem like the right tool. Thanks.
