Is there any way to make a page that does not make the website look inset into the browser?

I don't want to resort to creating my own window and all since you would have to make your own move, resize, and other functions which are not as fast a real window.

HTA applications are also out due to the fact that they won't allow the statusbar to be shown.

Hi,

Make a chromeless page (download the code here -
Using this, I have devolped what look like applications, as no one can tell its a IE window (does not even show on the taskbar) but infact are just IE.

This essientially removes EVERYTHING you see in the browser, so your just left with a blank space.

You can see slightly by going to:

start>run> iexpore.exe -K

(you will need to press Alt-F4 to close it)

However, this only works with IE.

Cheers

I'll keep that page bookmarked in case I decide to consider it again in the future. However, the problem with that method is how slow the windows move around. In addition, you have no way to resize and stuff like that (although you could write a script to allow it) It's quite neat to use in certain instances, but in my case I don't think it'd be able to do what I want.
