I've got a 570 page catalog i'm putting together, and it's composed of probably 80 pagemaker files... I've got all the files in order and added to my book list, but now i've got to make the index... it's a technical catalog, and i've got 8 million part numbers to index in text boxes all over the place... is there an easy / faster way to index this other than just highlighting each part number and adding them to the index under utilities? please help! i've got 85 hours in this week so far since saturday, and i'm running on donut holes and mini thins... anything that would speed up this horriffic process would be GREATLY appreciated...

Thanks,
Valerie

Hello,
There is no easier way in Pagemaker to index your file.
You can look for a script. You might find one on the web that will do the process easier.
I do not have a web address for this sites but I do know there are some out there. I have looked at them before.
Good Luck
