We have multiple sites and two Data Centers. The Voice recording will be centralized at the two Data Centers. The Primary voice logger is at DC1 and the Secondary voice logger is at DC2. The objective is to capture two copies of the (same) voice RTP streams from the (individual) Branches to two different Data Centers.

Is there any voice recording product has a feature used to send voice (stream) recording to two different locations?

If its SIP or H323 traffic, then you could use wireshark to pick out the RTP and save it off. perhaps two instances of wireshark might do what you want

Can't you do the recording to one site then synch the files to the 2nd site?

That was my first thought, but if the primary site (or recorder) becomes unavailable , then all the remote sites lose their ability to record calls (and I assume that the FSA get shirty). It might be possible to have recording systems (with minimal storage) at the remote sites that file synch back to the 2 data centres.

It comes down to risk vs cost; what is the cost of doing "remote node" recording versus the risk and penalty of missing recording a call. Again, I assume the the requirement for call recording is a regulatory one and much of my view is predicated on this assumption.

My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.
