any utility to list all data on a formatted harddrive?

Does anyone know of any utility which will list data on a harddrive(including anything in unallocated space --ie stuff that has been 'deleted'?

I was hoping for something that can fit onto a bootable floppy or something like that. I need to test some drives that have been wiped using Dban Nuke and need to make sure nothing is recoverable to the average joe anyway.
