Any Utilities to Compact All MDBs on Network Drive?

Is anyone successfully using tools such as "AccCompact v1.11"? I have Access-97, 2000, 2002 (XP) and 2003 MDBs. The ultimate goal is an automated scheduled tool that can scan and compact all MDBs stored on a network directory share; in order to conserve diskspace.

I know I can create my own tools to perform a check of MDB to see if I can get it exclusive, if an lbd file exists, etc... but; I just do not have time to create such a tool...

The time it would take to try out these products will be comparable to creating a simple VBScript for your database compacting and setting it to run in the Scheduled Tasks Feature of Windows. This really shouldn't take very long at all.

Just by Googling the terms I was able to come up with numerous items on the subject and the links below have example scripts to re-use...

Well, the issue is that having many many MS Access Dbs and a multitude of users; they would not desire to wait for the compact/repair option many times a day and in some cases the DBs (stored on network drives) are over 1GB+; meaning the compact/repair will take lots of time. So, automated solution (after hours) is a better solution. thanks!
