Just wondering if there is any type of function to return a record then break and return the next record?

I need to do it this way since this part of the info. is in the group footer.

Thanks!!

John

I am pretty sure that using CHR(13) in a formula will put in a carriage return. I am not sure what you mean by the next "record". Ken Hamady

The group footer (when printing) is using the last record in the group as its "current" record. You can see the prior and subsequent record values for a field with the functions
Previous({SomeField})
Next({SomeField})
I share Ken's confusion about what you are trying to do. Malcolm Wynden

By record I mean say you have four medications your currently on. Well then that would be four records in that record set. Is there a way to loop through the records in crystal as you would in an ASP page. Kinda like <%rs.movenext%>

Im just trying to get my data to drill down as it would if I were to put it in the details section. :) Gosh Im terrible at this arent I

Thanks for all your help!!

John

Sorry, I have no idea what you are trying to do. So we can back up and try to get on the same page.

Crystal only reads tables, which are made up of records (rows)and fields (columns). The rows can can be grouped based on one of the fields.

What are the fields used in your report?

Thanks for trying Ken, Im just going to insert a subreport. It works fine that way, I was just trying to complete the report without using a subreport.
