any tips on a HDD utility for scsi disks?

Hi there,

Does anyone know of any good hard disk utility (preferably free or shareware) which i could use to low format my scsi seagate hard disk?

the hdd has been complaining of serious disk errors, and what i could get from seagate's site isn't all that helpful - non-booting, limited capabilites.

any suggestions?
