ANyone have any experience on these two. A customer asked me about them the other day.

I'd have to look to make sure, but if I remember correctly, Shoretel is strictly CO Centrex stuff. Not much advantage in that.

ShoreTel is a total VOIP solution. The product is great. Easy to install, easy to administer. Someone told Mugs wrong.

Ring Central is a hosted VoIP solution. I've worked with clients who have used them before, and rapidly grew tired of them. Extremely feature rich apparently, but the audio quality was less than stellar, also, the customer service/tech support was horrendous. Very buggy also. We've helped organizations migrate to either Cisco or Asterisk based IP PBX solutions in many instances. ShoreTel is ok from what I've heard, not much personal experience with it however.

if anyone knows Shoretel then Gsmitherman is your man and I have heard also good things about it, but you should know that the installation is key to the whole system working and you need an experienced installer to make you happy with ANY product you get.
Make sure that you get such an installer (company) for you and not someone that can sell but not program and troubleshoot the system. Have the company present you with sites that they have done in the past that are about your size and have similar features that you want as well before you sign a contract.
