I just got a call from a contractor who needs to alarm 2 doors that lead into a pool area.We need to notify the whole house when these doors are opened.I presently have a partner plus installed with 2 door phones. Is there anyway to contact the doors and give me an open or closure when the doors opens. I was thinking maybe I could ring a line port and ring all the phones in the house. any suggestions

how good are you at electronics ?

you could do as you suggested and ring a co port using a 1a2 ringing power supply coupled to a relay that you could trip with the magnetic door sesnors used with alarms

would take a bit of mucking around but shouldnt be that difficult to rig up , actually could be a fun project

you need something that will put out ring voltage 1a2 ringing poser supply came to mind Im sure there are other ring generators available.

then you need a way to trigger a short burst as ahte door opens and closes
