My organization has a database called "Orders". Our customers are able to order Patches, T-shirts, Plaques, and Certificates. At the moment--I do these all myself--each time that we run fulfillment. I would like to start to automate it though, so it is one less thing that I have to do when it comes to this database.

Here's what I normally do each time I run fulfillment:

-Run a query of everything that has been ordered, with no ship date.
-Run a report off that query for the Operations Manager to review to make sure those that are on hold should be on hold. And delete them if not
-Run labels for those that ordered.

We do this for each product. The only difference is that the certificates have to be exported to a word merge file. And the Plaque list has to be printed to word--everything set to all caps, and QC'd. I am basically trying to automate as much of this as I possibly can for the Operations to take over fulfillment--instead of me doing it.

Any suggestions?

Where to start...............

Check the Macro tab and create a new macro.

Select OpenReport and look for the options in the bottom left hand corner.

Select the report off the list and select Print in the View

Next Click in the box below OpenReport and selct Close. Complete the options in the bottom left again

Repeat for each report in the same macro.

You can run the macro directly or create a commad button on a form do it.

Any problems feel free to let me know
