Any software for monitoring what websites users go on?

I'm familiar with websense but the company I'm working for won't spend the money for it unless I can prove that it's worth it. For now, I'd like to see if there is a cheaper solution or something free that would monitor what websites our users are visiting so I can present those results to our CFO. Anyone have any ideas?

websense offers an eval. Why not evaluate the actual product you wish to convince your boss to purchase...

Ive used SurfControl for 3 yrs to monitor Web Access and do Email Filtering. It does look like Websense and SurfControl are going to eventually become one

Any proxy server software should be able to do this for you. If you need a really inexpensive Proxy take a look at CCPRoxy from YoungzSoft. Mark Gibbs at Network World Magazine gave it a rave review. I personally have not used it but did take a look at the trial download which seemed easy to configure.

I have just finished my 30 days demo of smartfilter and seems to be pretty good as does the reporting side of it, smartreporter. Although if your company doesnt wanna spend too much this post may be of no use.
