There is a Hotfix available, BUT BE VERY CAREFUL.....
I used it on my newly installed EPO server and it made maters morse than the original problem. It got so bad in the end I had to reinstall the whole server...
If you do use the hotfix, make sure you've backed up the database. It saved me hours of even more work.
