Health Care - a hospital. It's possible any patient phone could connect to an old EKG Cart via Modem

With 1000 analog TNs, why wouldn't I just add FAXA and MPTA to ALL Analog TNs and be done with it? These analogs rarely dial between sites over the SIP - but when they do, it "could" be a modem call.

I'm looking for any risks to adding MPTA FAXA to all analogs.

Like you say if traffic levels for that type of traffic are small, or you have the bandwidth, or even say all calls may be set to best quality i would not think there was an issue.
