Any pros know how they did this "inverted light flare/glow effect" ?

I spent days trying to figuring out the animation/effect.

Go to cocktails.

Looks simple, but I think a little more complex than it may seem.
If you look at the different shapes of glasses and how the glows contour them, this doesn't seem to be just a simple gradient.

Are there are any experts out there who can show me a simple example of how to do this "glow animation" other than just theory?

It would be so greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Manny

It's really easy - you can do it with a tween or in code.

For the tween version:

1. Take your image - add a motion tween.
2. On the last frame, select the image, then choose 'advanced' from the 'color' dropdown in the properties panel.
3. Boost the red, green and blue values in this panel to get the flare effect you want in the last frame and the tween will take care of the animation between the two extremes. You can do this with the 'brightness' setting too but advanced lets you alter the colour balance of the flare with more control.
