I have installed an IP Office at one of our locations and have had problems with the Control Unit not communicating with the Trunk card. The system was installed a couple weeks ago and 4 times since we have had the system go down. The technician reboots it and everything works fine for a couple days, then it goes down again. Avaya level 3 support can't find anything wrong. Any ideas?

It may be worth checking that the trunk card has been correctly seated.

Call the eng back & insist that a reboot is not suficent. if the card is correctly seated then I would recomend replacing the unit.

It could also be that the IP Office was shipped out with a configuration already set on it. I have had this happen multiple times. Check under your line tab to make sure it is recognizing the line card as an analog card properly. I have received an IP Office that looked as if it was set to defualts, but when I looked at the line tab it was reading the analog module as a BRI Module.
