I know Cisco has ACS but is there a linux front end I can put on a TACACS server with ease so we can handover password management to our management so we can conform to our security policy?

so you already have tacacs+ on the linux box? or are you asking if there is a web page you can change password in linux like ACS?

Yes. We have a tacacs server up and running.
Usually the tech maintain it with encrypted passwords.

However the bosses wish to move the admin away from techs and move it to our engineering manager who isnt linux literate.

I would like a front end to write to the back end text files if this is possible.

there is no front end that i am aware of. why not let the users change their own passwords after a certain time. This can be done
