I got this error message and I wanna know what is the pice of H/W generate that error.


BERR704 EXC 0: Bus Error in ISR
SR=0x2700, PC=0x10f5a916, Addr=0xb000c240, SSW=0x105

that's not hex

exch x: y us isr. sr=a.pc=b,abbr=c,ssw=d

and that one is critical, if you can't address that problem, it's one you should call your vendor IF you see it more then once

I've found this below.


Example:-

SR=0x2700, PC=0x20e3789c, Addr=0xb000ca40, SSW=0x105
value = 0 = 0x0


The hardware causing the problem is found in the Addr=0xb000ca40 field

From Nortel Solution Search we have an exact match:-

Then init.
The address is cab 0 slot 10. Meridian mail.
11c or small system only.

Problem Resolution
--------------------------

Replace mer mail card in slot 10.
