Hi there, I know this is a bit of a long shot, but I was wondering if anyone can help me with this one.
I have an IBM thinkpad here with only 1 USB port, but I want to connect my mouse (no problems) and a keyboard via a USB hub. Drivers all downloaded and fine.
Now I can get this keyboard to run fine just on its own (i.e. straight into the back of the laptop) but as soon as I use the hub, I can get the mouse to work, and the keyboard is fine untill I use it. The music software (reason) recognises it is there, but no actual midi information is being sent through, yet it works without the hub.
Just some extra detail: after trying with the hub, I have to uninstal the keyboard driver, run a midi fix tool and reinstall the driver again before plugging in the keyboard straight into the back of the laptop just to get the keyboard to work again.
Has anyone come across this problem before, or can anyone point me to a forum who might be able to help me better?
Kind regards
Rob
