Any major issues with IP office 4.1 or VM

Going to start installing 4.1 next week and haven't seen to much negative stuff about IPO or VM pro versions.. Are they pretty stable or should I stay with 4.0.14 for now ?

I Do think that 4.1 is better. Although i did have a problem with my voicemail ports locking up. Main number is pointed directly to the AutoAttd with high call volume. So I got a Patch from Avaya. It seems that it only affects the 406 and only when calls are answered by AA first. FYI I was running 4.0.14 first and problem followed 4.1. Also if you are using time conditions they do change on 4.1 (e.g. i had to swap my arrows from true to false)

The channels problem affects some systems with the latest maintenance releases of 4.0 and 4.1, but as said there are patch/private builds for both. In fact codewise 4.0 and 4.1 are very close kissing cousins - a bug in one is very likely to also exist in the other and by the same virtue the fix is one is usually mirrored by a fix in the other. So there is little to choose between the latest 4.0 and 4.1, so go for 4.1 to get the extra features.

The VMPro change is a hoot. It was a bug but one thats been around for so long it had pretty well become accepted operation, except they've now fixed it and so confused everyone again.

so far I havnt encountered any customer affecting issues.
a couple of verry minor & obscure quirks that would never be found in the real world is all I have noticed

V4.0.14 is reportedly similar but I am not bothering with it at present Go straight to V4.1

I think we will all agree that 4.1 is a welcome guest in our house after that party crasher 4.0.5 - 4.0.10, 4.0.14 is ok however.

4.1 = less stress on a daily basis!!!!!!!!!!!!
