I have recently started installing Linux platforms at work (both Redhat 9 and Fedora Core 2 & 3) and wanted to know if there's any 'major' differences between them?
I've asked and researched around, but most people like one over the other mainly because they've only used one and not the other.
The machine I'm using now has FC2 installed and frankly, I don't see the difference between this and Redhat 9. My machine did not like Redhat9 and refused that installation.
Now my boss wants me to install Redhat 9 on a new machine (since he is running Redhat 9 on his machine), but my logic tells me to install FC3 because it seems to have more support for newer hardware.
Any suggestions? Thanks in adavnce.
