We're currently using the old client connection manager, which will only do 8-bit color. I have installed the XP remote desktop application and tried that, and it does work, but I can't figure out how to get rid of the yellow bar. The program needs to run in full screen mode in the strictest sense.
So if anyone knows how to A) increase colors in the client connection manager to 16 bit, that would be prefered. B) get rid of the yellow bar in remote desktop so that the user will be required to click start -> logoff in order to exit the terminal software, that would be fine too. or C) some other software.
I tried a windows compiled version of rdesktop, but it only works for terminal server 2000 and 2003, not 2008, which is what we're running.
