Trying to get a new machine set up, and dang it if the people not only are insistant on WP9, they ALSO want WP6.0a! Every so often the machine will crash & I think it's actually because of WP9 or one of the half-dozen programs that loads on startup as part of the WP Office 2000. I found Corel's SP3 update & put that on, we'll see how it goes.

Any issues with WP9 & XP SP2?

WP 9, service Pack 4 was a re-write of WP9 for Windows 2000. Anything before is prone to problems on the post Windows 98 operating systems.
As I understand, service pack 4 is no longer available from Corel. Originally it was only available on a CD for the cost of shipping. You might try e-bay if upgrading to a more current version is not practicle.
If you are going to run older than WP 9, SP4 on Windows 2000 or XP you should give the user full administrative rights to the machine. Others have posted registry hacks that may or may not help.
