I would like to have users turn on their computers, login and have a specific web page open automatically.(sort of like their desktop)

Right now I have place a shortcut to the web page in Startup. But the browser does not always maximize its window.

It there a better way to accomplish this?

That is the way I'd probably do this...What browser and version are you using?

If it's IE, it should "remember" the size the browser window was when it was closed and retain it next time it opens. Try testing this by maximizing the browser, closing it and reopening it.

What you might want to try is right clicking your desktop,
In the pop up menu click on Active Desktop - My current Home Page, but make sure you have, show web content on my active desktop cheched off under display properties. I think this might be helpfull.
