Hi,

Its been long now, earlier was using editor for ASP as below.

Editplus
Visual Studio
HTML Editor

Is there any better editor, which can be used and develop the site faster.

Visual studio's editor is far for me the best.

I also prefer Visual Interdev but I like the way you can see the line numbers in TextPad and UltraEdit. You can download both of them.

Also if you are interested in saving development time the FireFox browser can save time over IE for debugging client side JavaScript.

Visit for the editor EasyASP. It's free and has most of the features one wishes for. The interface with FTP takes some getting used to.

I haven't found an ASP editor that catches your errors the way some of the dedicated program editors do (such as FoxPro or Visual Basic).

I thought it was easier to leave a trail of Response.Write than use the old Interdev debugger.

Are the breakpoints and debugging with Visual Web Developer 2005 Express better than the ones in Interdev?

I keep meaning to download it and I keep getting distracted.
