hi!
i have started using mysql these days, i wanted to try out different versions of SQl..so here i am i did download Mysql from but i have a problem here it is very hard to retype the entire 4 line command to just try it... i did like it a lot but i think there must be an editor which can actually help us in working efficiently, .. like the isqlplus, or the sql plus worksheet kind thing ... can anyone of you help me find some thing like that...

thank you.

would be greate if you could tel me for both windows and linux. actually i am right now using it in windows

There are a lot of them out there for one platform or the other. You can find a bunch for Win32 using a Google search of: mysql management gui win32

Three that I know of exist for both platforms are:

MySQL Control Center: [free]

EMS MySQL Manager: [for pay]

PHPMyAdmin: [free, web-based]

Also have a look at 'mysqlfront' (for windows platform).

I never set a goal because u never know whats going to happen tommorow.

MySQLCC is probably one of the better ones if you like to manage multiple servers and go back and forth between them. Sleipnir214 gave you the link, and it is free! It is small and it is offered on different platforms... Linux or Windows... I use it daily...
