Moseying through the threads, I didn't see much mention of Battery Back UPS. I've been partial to ONEAC in the past, but our new distributor doesn't carry them. Minuteman "XRT" or Minuteman "Enterprise" seem to be adequate conditioners (true sinewave means conditioned line...doesn't it?) and they are expandable. Any one have any experiences -good or bad- with Minuteman. How many- Volt Amps do I need for fully loaded ACS? Thanks for your time.

Check out the General UPS discussion forum under Server Rack. Minuteman is good, at least I hav'nt had many problems with em. Go to the minuteman website You'll need to go to the back of the Partner manual under specifications to get the wattage of each card in the carrier.

I didn't see any posts on the general UPS discussion board. Am I missing something, or is the board really blank? [ponder]

We use Minuteman units for our big PBX switches, especially the older transformer type power supplies. Normally we use APC off line types for Partners. You are really concerned with run time as the actual consumption on a Partner isn't that great. The bigger the system, the more $$$ the customer has spend, so they get a bigger UPS. Easy sale normally.
