I wrote a IVR (Voice Mail) application in VB6 using the KAED.com TAPI tool kit. I am using Dialogic D4PCI cards, and SR511 Feature Pack 1. It all works great, usually.
But, if I start my application while one or more phone line(s) is ringing, that line will not handle any calls.
After hours of test, I started the Dialogic Talker32 sample TAPI application and found it does the same thing1
Neither application produces any errors, it just ignores events (like rings) on the line that was ringing during start up. Any ideas?
PS: I know Dialogic is dropping the D4PCI and TAPI support.
