Are there any books on Aspect script writting?

I can't seem to find any. Is there another language that is similar that would be helpful to learn?

I want to do some automation and would like to really learn Aspect. Although the sample scripts and Procom help and are a good start I really find they are not enough.

I'm not aware of anything related to ASPECT specifically. Most books on Procomm (which touch a bit on scripting) that I've seen are for earlier versions of Procomm, such as the DOS or first Windows versions. During the 4.7 timeframe, Quarterdeck released an ASPECT scripting manual, but it was roughly the equivalent of the ASPECT help file and I have not seen any copies for sale in ages.

I concur with knob.
When I started using Aspect way back in the day(DOS)Procomm came with an aspect manual but I have not seen one in years.

You might be able to search used books and find a copy of an old issue.

Being old school I prefered the hard copy at first but since then I have found the "help" files to be better because of the cut and paste available so there is very little typing.

I have a book to learn scripting with Procomm 4.5
It's also availiable on "Help files" in Procomm but not so easy tto learn with.

What's your needing ?
