Hey,
Im just wondering if there are any 64 bit compilers for C++? For Linux or Windows it dosent matter. If there arnt, how long will it be until they become available?

Microsoft apparently ships a beta version of a 64-bit compiler with the Platform SDK. See

For information on obtaining the Platform SDK, please see

Finally, Intel might also be worth a shot:

I belive intel and microsoft have shiped 64bit compilers, specifically for the Intel IA64 cpu, just to make sure there isnt any confusion, you must have the IA64 CPU , in order for their 64bit compiler to have any real effect.

Which also means, if you do have the CPU, and the test board and such, I would assume the compiler would have been shipped with it.
