Hello,

Please excuse the fact that this isn't exactly the right forum for asking AntiVirus questions...

We currently have a Dell PowerEdge 2850 server running SQL Server 2000 for the back end and Deltek Vision 3.0 for the front end. For our antivirus solution, we were considering purchasing Symantec AntiVirus Enterprise 10.1. However, I heard from a consultant that he doesn't recommend Symantec because it takes too much system resource away from the SQL Server. Has anybody heard this about Symantec AntiVirus? Also, can anybody recommend an antivirus solution for SQL server?

Thank you!
