Netshield 4.60
Novell 5.1 server(s)
Win98 Workstation
TCP/IP loaded on workstation and network

PROBLEM 1
Using AntiVirus Console from Win98 workstation to configure netshield on servers. Whenever exiting from application get the following error:
"Mcconsol. This program has performed and illegal operation and will be shut down"

PROBLEM 2
Unable to connect to any servers on the network with AntiVirus Console. It sees all the servers, they are all running netshield, but when trying to connect to the server get the following error:
"Unable to connect to SERVERNAME. Make sure that this computer is on the network and is running Netshield."

WHAT I HAVE DONE SO FAR:
1. Reinstalled console
2. Tried every setting available in console (enable broadcast discovery, disable broadcast discovery, unloading netshield from server and restarting using /p=34298 switch to specify port setting).

Any thoughts? I have to update netshield on the servers and at this point I am unable to do so.

There's an option in the console to select whether to connect to an NT or Novell server. Have you tried it?

... take my advice, I don't use it anyway!
