AntiVirus and Spam Solution

Next question:

What are you using for Spam and AntiVirus. Previously, for the last 10 years or so, I've been using the Symantec AV for Exchange. I also have the antispam plugin working as well. But that is for 2K3.

What are people using for 2K7?

Symantec's MSMSE 6.x
and third party hosted solutions such as AppRiver, Postini, MS's FrontBridge

I was afraid of that,

I just upgraded to the whole Exchange 2003 kit less than a year ago, so I have the SMSE5.0 (won't work with 2k7 - go figure)

same scenario with Backup Exec 10d and requisite 11d for 2k7.

Just feeling a bit run through.

If you have Gold support for the AV product, you'd get the newer version.

And - you don't even want to try installing SMSMSE 5.x on a 2007 box. Seen it happen. Wasn't pretty.
