Hi,
At the minute we are using a template to specify the anti-virus settings for every user. This template is the old IT managers AV settings.
He has now left the company and I am wanting to remove his mailbox from the email server because it is very large and is still being backed up every night.
I figured that if was was to delete his account then all users would lose their AV settings as they are pointing at his account. What I need to know from you guys is the best way around this?
I was thinking about creating a genetic account and copying his Av settings accross to this one, but this means going through every users mailbox and pointing their AV settings at it.
Would changing a users AV settings have any knock on effects?
Can I change the AV settings whilst users are working?
Is their a better way of doing this?
Thanks for looking!
