I need to run a virus scan on my clients computers, but I don't want to install any software. I really would like to have a boot CD that I can run to clean out all the viruses. Sometimes these computers can't be connected back to my network so the online virus scan isn't going to work. I have heard that norton does boot, but are the virus def. updated?

Most antivirus products do have Rescue disks. As for the updates, some has programs that allows you to create them with the latest definitions. thry this one:
Using a DOS bootdisk (or image on CD), the F-Prot DOS package does a good job and is regularly updated. Registration is very cheap as well. See
