I am importing a few variables from a text file. In the flash movie the text is anti-aliased, but when I view the movie it isn't? I am using Arial font and just importing a link variable as such:

<a href=&quot;whatever&quot;>Some text</a>

the text shows up, and is a link, but it isn't anti-aliased?

Ideas? Miles

Try including embedded font outlines in the textfield. That should smooth them out ...

Embedding all of the fonts can increase the file size somewhat (20kb or so). If you only need simple text then just select the lowercase and uppercase and add any extra chars like .´s and ,´s in the little text box next to it.

BTW the options are under window>panels>text options
HTH,

;-)
