Hi there,
I have a phone (3406) with other key lines 3426, 3427, 3428 and 3429, if the 3406 rings on these 4 lines and the person lift the handset, the call is answered, I don't want this,
what I want is, if the person lift the handset the phone takes its own line (3406) so the person hears the dialtone, but if the person wants to answer the call on the other lines he has to lift the handset and press the key line (3426, 3427, 3428 or 3429).

I tried this: ST + 93 + + 3406 + DE + 3406 + EXE. but it's not doing what I want. Can somebody help me.

Your options are to remove the ringing on the other lines, or set them to delayed ring. As long as the line is ringing and you have ringing line pick up set for the extension it will answer any ringing line.
To remove ring, go to CMD
9001>ext,lk>set to 0
For delayed ring, go to CMD
9003>ext,lk>set to 0 and leave ringing on in CMD 9001.

You shouldn't have to disable ringing to stop this. Try changing cmd 1582 for that station's service restriction class! Or create it's own class with 1582 disallowed.

That would also remove ringing line pick up on the prime line. The user would have to push a button to answer any call.

But the user wants to decide what to answer anyway! So this way they can have ringing and decide what to answer. I find it's best to give the user all the options and let them decide!

Thanks a lot belevedere and OzzieGeorge for your answers.
Well, after some tests we decided that the option 9001>ext,lk>set to 0 was the perfect one.

Thank you.
