Hi,
please help me with this issue.
I will try explain my problem (my english is not so perfect)
dialing the numer to reception desk (after work hours), (of course this is internal call), answerig machine telling me: "Hi, this is company...bla bla bla, we are working from..bla bla.." but when i will use mobile phone and dial main number to my company there is normal signal and the answering machine doesnt work. In this situation when client is calling to my company (after work hours) dont know that we are working for example from 8 till 16. (answering machine should inform him)

I hope U will understand me.
Please, help me

Best Regards

Michal

The answering machine probably doesn't like the double ring signal for external calls....if it's new enough, there might be a setting you can change. Otherwise you'll either have to get an answering machine that can recognize the double ring or change the last digit of the ICAT parameter for that extension to "8" (internal ring for external calls).

Good luck,

Dave Strang

Daddy,

ICAT only shows up on an EXDDP -- even tho' you change it with EXCAC.

tczambra - send EXDDP:DIR=7001;

Then change the ICAT parameter by adding 8 to whatever the last digit is.....EXCAC:DIR=7001,ICAT=xxxY; Where xxx are the original values in ICAT and Y is the last digit + 8 (if last digit was 1, then new value will be 9 ).

Good luck,
