I just installed an 824 at my office. When an incoming call rings in, the phone doesn't pick up the line when I lift the handset; I must press the button of the ringing line. On my 824 at home, all I have to do is lift the handset and it picks up the ringing line automatically. What have I missed?

Thanks - Zak

If the phone is set to ring on incoming calls, then it will answer the line when you lift the handset.

What Phoneguy427 said...and If the phone actually DOES ring and doesn't just flash, the problem is that you have plugged your handset into the headset port on the bottom of the phone.

I am thinking you need to assign the prime line of that set to I/C for incoming calls.

the lines need to be set to ring & app

Remember if it doesn't work hit it harder
